The Engineering HR Team at Bloomberg is looking for an exceptional senior engineer to work on building reliable, scalable applications which enable a large number of users to interact with HR systems. This role focuses on working within a tight:knit team of motivated and intelligent developers to build highly available systems that provide a best:in:class experience for a user population that is spread across over 75 countries.
You will interface with the business to understand the requirements on your projects and have the opportunity to drive the direction of the products we develop. We are seeking developers who are motivated to learn so they can be effective in new domains and technologies, and who can formulate a vision and work towards making it a reality.
: Bachelor of Science/MS/PhD Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
: 3 years of software engineering experience in C and/or C++
: Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
: Experience with Relational Databases; T:SQL is a plus
: Experience designing/developing business applications; knowledge of Human Resources is a plus
: Experience in User Interface Design is a plus
