Role Summary/Purpose: The PLM Software Build and Deploy Leader will lead all aspects of our PLM software build and deploy process, mechanics and validation. They will provide technical leadership and strategy to ensure first time right software delivery to our end users
Essential Responsibilities: In addition, you will:
:Design, develop and implement software build automation for the Teamcenter PLM environment, including all the activities to make sure the code is developed, tested, and deployed to production
:Own and administer the software code repositories for PLM applications
:Own and enforce the code and release branching strategy and process
:Develop the code control strategy and train the technical teams on the process and tools related to software build and deployment
:Set the strategy for continuous integration and work with the PLM Environment Leader to implement a dependable solution
:Contribute to the creation of IT documentation such as the Technical Architecture Document, Configuration Guide and Support Guide
:Partner with the PLM Enterprise Architect in creating and implementing the overall PLM technical stack strategy
:Work closely with the PLM Implementation team to understand the local development environment needs and design and develop a strategy for localized code builds
:Manage contractors and estimate efforts and budgets.
:Produce documented plans, frameworks and processes
:Provide input into the technology plan for the IT organization
:Advise management on build plans and continuous integration technologies
:Support, advise, assist, guide and resolve problems for Program teams
:Participate in the evaluation and implementation of third party software solutions within the PLM tech stack
:Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university (or HS diploma/GED plus 4 years of equivalent experience)
: A minimum of 3 years of experience developing/writing code for large scale software solutions
: A minimum of 3 years of experience implementing with build and deploy tools
:A minimum of 3 years of experience managing code repositories (SVN experience mandatory)

:Strong debugging and problem solving skills
